About Us
Set in the heart of Lancashire, our beautifully handcrafted venue offers a stunning barn conversion for weddings and events, featuring vaulted oak ceilings, wooden and natural stone floors, a fully licensed ceremony space, and flexible catering options. For those wishing to stay, we offer 12 on-site bedrooms and 5 glamping pods, allowing guests to fully relax and enjoy their stay. Guests can also enjoy The Mill, our detached public house serving a full range of food and drink in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Nearby, our lakeside café overlooks a duck-filled lake and is popular for casual dining, renowned for afternoon teas. Serving Wallings ice cream, a firm favourite with younger visitors. The site is dog friendly and set within extensive grounds that are home to a small and growing family of rescue animals, such as our donkey and pony. We also have a walkway of independent shops to explore.
From special occasions to everyday visits, it’s a place to relax, enjoy great food, and make lasting memories.
The Barn
The Barn is our main function room, offering a bespoke wedding venue which was purpose built for hospitality. The Barn is ideal for weddings, christenings, Parties and family celebrations. It is fully licensed, and has a large corporate kitchen attached to account for all catering needs.
The Barn is available just for you. It can be hired out on an exclusive basis, giving sole access to your own bridal preparation room, safe in the knowledge that the team at Charnock Farm are only 30 seconds away. And with an array of shops onsite to support your day, you know that any last minute emergency flowers, stationary or bridal accessories are available when you need them.
The Mill Pub
The Mill offers a full menu throughout the day, as well as an ever changing range of cask ales, lagers, ciders, spirits and wines.
Our location makes this an ideal stop off for families, cyclists and dog walkers, all of which are welcome. We ask that dogs are kept on leads inside and outside of the venue to keep all customers happy.

The Café
The new Cafe at Charnock Farm is now open from 9.00am till 5pm.
The cafe offers a full range of hot food, cakes and pastries, all complimented with our handmade barista style coffees which are all served with delicious views of our lake and the countryside that follows beyond.
